Acharya Prashant: It is a gross misconception to think that what I am saying here is according to ‘me’, that it is my ‘opinion’.
Gravity is not Newton’s opinion.
Just as there are laws of the physical world, there are clear and precise laws of the mental world and even the process of realizing these laws is much the same as in Science.
How do you realize the laws of the physical world?
By observing the world, not by interfering. Not by imposing your opinion upon the various physical phenomenon, but just by carefully observing how the physical world functions and responds. Similarly the mental world also has it’s definite laws. They are not anybody’s opinion, and you cannot argue and quarrel with them. They exist, they are true, and they are for every body to see.
Any body who bothers to be quite, be attentive, and observe the mind, will see those laws. So, they are not really my opinion or anybody else’s opinion. Across centuries, across ages, across spaces, whosoever has tried to understand the mind, has come upon the same Truth.
That one universal, constant, unchangeable, un-challenge-able Truth.
