Aazadi – A street play

The title of the play was Aazadi
It was a spontaneous creation scripted by Acharya Prashant that very poignantly displays various levels of slavery of the mind. The conspiracies that mind plots against its own Freedom and how its cultivated slavery makes it blind to its own sufferings. The play unites the themes of birth, conditioning, suffering, grace, love, and man’s obsessive slavery.

To pay tribute to 70th Independence Day of India, volunteers decided to come to the streets and spread the message of awareness. Awareness on how the common man is made a slave of his conditions superimposed by the various social institutions like religion, family, media,  workplace etc.

A team of cameramen and reporters from one of the leading channels of electronic media—TIMES NOW, accompanied the volunteers throughout the day. Recording every effort of the volunteers rehearsing at the PAF office along with their effortlessness during the play at Dilli Haat.
